I have just recently completed a City and Guilds training course in counselling and just thought I would share my experience with anyone who is in the same boat as I was. Just over a year ago, I was completely miserable in my job, unmotivated, uninspired, but more importantly, just trapped doing something that wasn’t for me. And as you get older, you kind of think it’s too late to go back and change your life, start over, do something that actually inspires you. I’m basically writing this blog to dispel this notion to anyone who feels the same way now that I did then. It’s completely untrue! It’s never too late to change your life. To tell the truth, a change in my life and career has long been overdue and I think I was scared of going into adult education. It’s a big commitment with no real promise of a secure outcome.
